Registration for visitors

Here, you can quickly and conveniently register for your visit to CHEMPARK. By doing so, you will avoid needless waiting time on the day of your visit. Nevertheless, please be sure to allow yourself sufficient time for registering at the site’s visitor reception area, and remember to bring along a valid ID document. (see “What is considered a valid ID document?”)

What is considered a valid ID document?

CHEMPARK regulations specify that originals (not photocopies) of the following official documents are accepted forms of ID:

  • For German citizens: only a valid ID card/official replacement ID card or a valid passport/official replacement passport
  • For citizens of a country fully implementing the Schengen acquis: a valid, officially recognized national ID card corresponding to the German ID card, or a valid, officially recognized passport/replacement passport corresponding to the German passport
  • For citizens of other countries: a valid, officially recognized passport/replacement passport corresponding to the German passport

We unfortunately cannot accept any other documents, including for example a driver’s license.

Who is considered a visitor?

Visitors are non-employees who – whether only once or occasionally – visit a CHEMPARK plant at the invitation of a person who is permanently based at the site. A person who is “permanently based at the site” is someone in possession of a valid CHEMPARK employee ID.

Visitors are not entitled to any fees or other form of financial remuneration for their stay at CHEMPARK. During your visit to the CHEMPARK site you must be accompanied by a CHEMPARK employee.

Visitors are issued a visitor pass that is valid for the duration of their stay (a maximum of 5 working days in a calendar week) and are entitled to use the visitor transport service.
