The Bonn bulk specialist operates a branch in Chempark Leverkusen since 2011. From here Baumann controls 365 days round the clock transport and loading of bulk materials and packaged goods within the Chemparks. Besides the use of specialized vehicles and wheel loaders, street cleaning by sweeping and disposal transports, also services and project planning around the topic of logistics can be realized.

International Freight Forwarding
The business unit "forwarding" of Baumann Logistik focuses on the national and international transport of bulk goods, including dangerous goods and waste goods by tipper truck with various designs.

Storage and Service
As a partner for short term storage or long-term storage, value added services are perfomed in Bonn on a total area of ​​approximately 23,000 square meters: freight handling / shipping, quality control, picking / packing, tire storage / service and IT-supported administration of the flow of goods.

Portable Building Systems

Echoes Industrieservice GmbH is a medium-sized, Cologne-based company which specialises in the fields of the heavy-duty assembly and dismantling of plant technology and equipment, as well as its maintenance. Furthermore, we offer the management of downtimes, pressure testing, pipeline assembly and dismantling according to isometry, bending technology and sheet metal processing.

Our headquarters and the workshop are located in the Cologne suburb of Porz, while for the optimised processing of our orders we have a branch office at the Chempark of Leverkusen in building G7.

The company Echoes Industrieservice was founded in November 2011 and has established itself in Leverkusen, Monheim, Dormagen and Krefeld-Uerdingen.

Based at the CHEMPARK Leverkusen, Evonik Operations GmbH operates a production plant for pyrogenic silica using as its raw materials chlorosilanes supplied by Momentive Performance Materials. The pyrogenic silica is then supplied to Momentive Performance Materials for the production of silicone rubber.

GMA-Werkstoffprüfung GmbH – with headquarters in Düsseldorf – was founded as "Gesellschaft für Materialabnahme" (Association for Materials Approval, GMA) in 1984 and has evolved today into one of the German market leaders in the field of quality assurance / materials testing. GMA is a part of Mistras Group Inc. Horst Götz GmbH & Co KG has been active in the field of industrial cleaning since 1960. Their service comprises the cleaning of process equipment contaminated with any type of substance, but in particular the cleaning of containers, pipelines, heat exchangers and sewers, by means of high-pressure water technology to 3,000 bar and with suction vehicles and air conveyor systems.

The catchment area of Horst Götz GmbH & Co KG is Germany and its neighboring countries.

The beginning of HOYER’s integration into the CHEMPARK Dormagen started with the operation of a state-of-the-art silo logistics plant in December 2000. Today customers can benefit from a sophisticated infrastructure. Not only a hazardous goods terminal plus rail tracks is operated but also synergy effects are provided for all container-related activities including general depot services. The hazardous goods terminal and facilities meet the utmost legal safety standards for hazardous liquid and dry goods in tank containers. The total site covers an area of almost 90,000 sqm.

The Impuls medical fitness and health center spans 1,700 m²and provides the following services under the supervision of sports therapists:

• sfrength training designed to help with orthopedic injury led by sports therapists
• two levels of cardiovascular and lactate-controlled endurance training
• selected testing systems to examine condition and capabilities
• targeted programs for beginners and advanced users (e.g. indoor cycling, aerobics, abdominal and back training, Tai Chi, pilates and yoga)
• electro-muscle stimulation (EMS) - a complete training session in only 20 minutes
• individual nutritional planning
• Finnish sauna and steam room.

Occupational health promotion and disease prevention programs (e.g. back clinic, cardiovascular training and stress management etc.) can be drawn up individually and implemented in conjunction with the Medical Department of CURRENTA.

Indulor Leverkusen GmbH & Co. KG, a subsidiary of the Indulor group, is the European market leader for Optical Brighteners (Fluorescent Whitening Agents). The Optical Brighteners that are produced in the CHEMPARK in Leverkusen are mainly used for the brightening of cellulose fibers. The biggest portion is used by the paper industry.

Indulor Leverkusen GmbH looks back on a long history. The invention of the Optical Brighteners dates back more than 70 years. At that time, Bayer had developed the Optical Brighteners, and had placed them on the market under the trade name BLANKOPHOR®. Nowadays, the trademark BLANKOPHOR® still represents these well-known and established products.

Optical Brighteners are substances with the ability to absorb ultraviolet light, e.g. from daylight. The absorbed energy is then emitted as blue, fluorescent light. By this mechanism, the yellowish tint of paper can be compensated and the brightness can be improved.

Indulor Leverkusen GmbH runs a production facility for this product class in the CHEMPARK Leverkusen, which is the biggest and the latest one in Europe. INEOS Styrolution is the leading, global styrenics supplier with a focus on styrene monomer, polystyrene, ABS Standard and styrenic specialties. At the CHEMPARK Dormagen SCHMIDT has built a silo department with 40 silos on an area of 3,900 m^² specifically to store the engineering polymers Novodur and Lustran (ABS) and is operating those since May 2005. The 40 silos have a capacity of 340 m^³ each. An experienced team of SCHMIDT employees ensures smooth operation.

At CHEMPARK Dormagen Kemira Germany GmbH, subsidiary of the Finnish chemicals company Kemira Oyj, produces aluminum based water chemicals used for waste water treatment and for drinking water applications. The product lines include both, acid salts like aluminum chloride (Kemira ACL) and polyaluminum chlorides (Kemira PAX) and also alkaline salts like sodium aluminate (Kemira SAX).

The site in Dormagen is actually the largest production facility of Kemira in the world. The close collaboration with Covestro, who delivers the needed hydrochloric acid by pipeline, ensures Kemira’s access to high quality raw materials and guarantees its supply reliability.
