At the Leverkusen and Dormagen CHEMPARK sites, the company employs more than 250 members of staff. Here, TALKE performs all logistics related activities within their customers´ sites. Additionally, the company provides own storage capacities for a wide range of dangerous goods on a space of about 125,000 square metres as well as corresponding specialised services.

These services include, for instance, the filling and re-filling of liquid or dry chemicals into trading units of all sizes – from 250 millilitre samples to tank containers – as well as dispatch services or production logistics at manufacturer sites, including providing the required staff.

Moreover, TALKE offers services for reusable containers and packaging logistics, intra-plant transports, issuance of shipping documents and customs clearance services as well as the sale and delivery of technical gases in cylinders.

As one of the leading maintenance companies at CHEMPARK, TECTRION ensures that technology and processes function optimally with its extensive range of services. The CURRENTA subsidiary supports companies at CHEMPARK in the maintenance and repair of equipment and plant. TECTRION also offers services in the areas of engineering, weak-point analysis, testing and quality assurance.

At the three CHEMPARK sites, TECTRION operates specialist repair shops with a broad technical spectrum, ranging from apparatus, electrical and equipment technology to machine maintenance, mechanical engineering, non-metallic materials, welding technology, construction of special machinery and devices and weighing technology.

As a partner in the field of plant services, TECTRION also offers installation and transport services, along with on-site maintenance. The portfolio also includes building technology services, for example the planning, engineering and maintenance of conveyance equipment and services connected with refrigeration and climate technology.

The Faculty of Applied Natural Sciences of the TH Köln - University of Applied Sciences focuses on up-to-date research-centered teaching with direct connection to practical professional applications. The Faculty offers two Bachelor’s programs, one in Applied Chemistry and one in Pharmaceutical Chemistry, and two Master’s programs, one in Applied Chemistry and one in Drug Discovery and Development. Since 2010, the Faculty of Applied Natural Sciences is located in the CHEMPARK Leverkusen in buildings E28 and E39.
